About us at Katbay

Your host at Katbay is me, Evelina Franzén, together with my family.

At Katbay, I want to offer families, couples and solo travellers a peaceful retreat close to nature – a place with room to slow down, be present and find a sense of calm in a busy world.

Katbay is for those who love being close to nature, enjoy an active lifestyle and want to travel in a more sustainable way, while also having a peaceful place to relax and unwind.

I have started planning and planting a new, larger forest garden – a project that will continue to grow and develop over the years. So far, it is home to walnut trees, sweet chestnuts, Korean silverberries and hazelnuts.

A little further away, you’ll find the kitchen garden and our smaller forest garden, where we grow fresh vegetables, fruit and berries.

Today, Katbay offers pitches for motorhomes and campervans, as well as an apartment where you can stay. You can also rent bikes to explore Kattvik and the surrounding area.
